Food for Thought (in Cambodia)

Coconut - we finally had one of these after seeing them everywhere on our trip. It was ok.

Dumplings - glutinous rice buns filled with  chives. They're kinda jiggly.

Fish Amok - most famous Cambodian dish. Fresh fish in a Cambodian curry paste and coconut milk steamed in bamboo leaves.

Lok Lak - underneath that giant egg is a mound of stirfry beef on a bed of salad. There's also a sauce dish of black pepper and lime that's not pictured. We weren't quite sure if we were to dip the beef in it as it already full of flavor.

Curry - coconut milk based and loaded with potatoes, carrots, and your choice of meat. Not as spicy as their neighbors.

Soup - all kinds and they usually make a good compliment to the meal. Pictured below is one filled with baby bamboo
